ABOUT US

Welcome to ABM Enterprises. The ABM stands for Adolf, Benjamin and Matthew, three of our cats. They're a big help, especially when we're trying to record....if you're interested in personal stuff, go to John & Vicky, Family Photos.

"We" are composer John Mitchell and his wife/manager/webmistress Vicky, and we offer CD recordings, mp3 downloads and scores of John's music, including art songs based on the poetry of John Donne, William Blake, Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Edna St. Vincent Millay and Sylvia Plath (to name a few). A CD of chamber music for string instruments was recorded in 2003 in Moscow, and Spanish songs and piano music in 2004. MMC Recordings released the first disc of a double CD of John's chamber music for woodwind instruments featuring clarinetist Richard Stoltzman in December 2007, and the second disc will be released in December 2008.
